Dads all too often take moms to football games, basketball games or NASCAR races. And, moms always go whether they are truly sports fans or not.
Dads, this year give Mom a night out at the ballet or a play. All mothers enjoy a little culture, even if they don’t seek it for themselves. Most smaller towns or at the very least a town within driving distance have plays at a theater seasonally. Whether it is “Les Miserables” or “Phantom of the Opera” there are always Broadway shows that it make to a town near you.
Be brave. Buy a pair of tickets… one for mom and one for you! Take her out for a real night on the town. Get dressed up! Maybe even make reservations at a restaurant where you would not ordinarily dine. (The key is “make reservations.”) And, don’t complain about taking her out, even if you have to wear a suit and tie.
Every mother is special. Every mother dreams of a night of glamour and culture. This is one night in a year. Go ahead and buy the tickets. Make the reservations. Take Mom out for a night of high end glamour.
